Does Beyond You, Inc. offer online counseling sessions?
Absolutely! We offer teletherapy using a HIPAA-compliant software program. Telephone counseling is available upon request. You can call us to schedule or book an online counseling session here.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are approximately 50 minutes.
Is everything kept confidential?
Absolutely! HIPPA guidelines as well as the ethical guidelines based on my licensure are followed.
What are my payment options?
We accept all debit and major credit cards. Payments for sessions are due at the time of service utilizing the designated platform.
How often do I need to meet with the therapist?
Generally, the frequency of sessions is once per week; bi-weekly or more often if necessary. The recommendation for sessions is based upon the degree to which a client’s daily life is being affected by symptoms of a condition and/or how quickly a client desires to see change in his/her life.
How long will I be working in therapy?
We work together to set goals for your therapy. These goals can be short term and long term and address the issues of why therapy is needed. These goals can change over time or therapy ends when these goals are accomplished. The time it takes to complete this process varies from one person to the next and can be a few sessions or several years.
How much does a session cost?
A session costs $75 – $100/one hour. A sliding scale may be available in certain circumstances.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes. Because sessions are scheduled and we do not over-schedule appointments, we ask that if you cannot make your appointment to please call or email at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not do this, our policy is to charge you $50 for the cost of the session unless there has been an emergency. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please do not hesitate to ask. Payment for cancelled or missed sessions is due at the beginning to your next session.
